The Company
 Ergonomic-Interface
Keyboard Systems, Inc. (EKS) was incorporated in 1993. With
reliable capital funding, the company continuously worked
on developing a previously patented design into a practical
product with proven benefits. As a result of clinical trials
and user feedback, there have been more than five generations
of designs developed before finalizing the model for production.
Researchers at EKS observed that most companies
offering 'ergonomic' keyboards could show no academic studies
of any kind to back up their claims to ergonomic benefits.
EKS welcomes ergonomics research utilizing their patented
design, because it is the only design proven to consistently
reduce all of the major positional problems inherent in other
keyboard designs. (see our "How It Works" section)
Today, EKS has changed their name to SafeType,
Inc, and manufactures the SafetypeTM
keyboard in one of the
most modern electronics factories in the world, and will eventually
have the capacity to produce as many as 3,000 keyboards per
day.
Our Warranty
Warranted to
function and be free of defects for one full year.
Repair or replacement will be manufacturer's option. We reserve
the right to repair or replace a keyboard after one year due
to special circumstances at no cost, which does not obligate
us to extend the warranty period for all customers.
Privacy Promise
You will never, ever receive unwanted
email as a result of providing information to us. We will
only contact you if it's something we think you should know.
If at any time you don't want to ever be contacted again,
just say so and we'll remove you from our contact list. If
the company is ever sold, the new owners will have to honor
the same promise.
